COMMUNITY EVENTS: The City of Pickerington is home to several events which celebrate the City and nearby area. One major event is the annual Pickerington Violet Festival. Facilities include four shelter houses with picnic tables and grills; five playground units; Zeller-Smith covered bridge; a gazebo; amphitheater; three acre pond; four softball diamonds; two basketball courts; over 4,600 feet of path space for bicycling; four soccer fields; five tennis courts; sledding hills; sand volleyball court; horseshoe pits.
